@minhofm
since the news had broken out, joon made sure to keep himself under the radar. he didn’t accept any texts or calls from people begging for his commentary on his ‘scandal’ nor did he really speak to anyone generally regarding his sudden departure from red light -- not that anyone would believe him anyway. after all, who would believe a traitor in this industry? right. no one.
but minho continued to reach out, leaving multiple voice mails and sending multiple texts to the older male’s phone encouraging joon to talk to him. the rapper couldn’t blame him; he left everyone in the dark about his actions, the company’s actions, and went mia when everything blew up. whether it was out of frustration or shame, joon shouldn’t have left the fire to burn his bridges. or at least what’s left of them.
so he texted minho back asking the younger male to meet him at a park in yongsan knowing that minho would be finished with his schedules sometime soon. he was thankful when he found that the park was empty when he was arrived, making a b-line for the pair of swings that sat still in the middle of the abandoned playground nearby. after texting minho his whereabouts, joon sat on a swing and waited in the chilliness of the late autumn night. maybe it was because of the cold or maybe it was the fact that he was outside and actually alone and away from the various staff fussing over him and his arrival at his new company; regardless of what it was, getting out of that constricted space allowed joon to already feel less suffocated compared to how he was over the last couple of weeks. for now, he can only accept that as a start.
