Sure, Cam had said she wouldn’t speak to him, but the joke was too good to pass up on. Here he stood, in Cam’s driveway, one of those tiny red and yellow cars in front of him, and a range rover behind him. He’d texted, so she knew to come out, and he waited.
“Ta daa!” He exclaimed when he saw her, tossing a pair of keys in her direction, and then gesturing out to the car in front of him. “Your brand new wheels. Assembled it myself, this morning. Runs like a charm.”
