“Y-You’d really like to know about me?” He sounded surprised. This wasn’t something that he hears everyday. But it did put him in a good mood.

“Well, I’m Bright Man! I am made by a Russian scientist named Doctor Mikhail Sergeyevich Cossack! The first one he’s ever built!” he said, a big smile on his face. “My purpose is to be as a backup for cities that experience a blackout! Which means a lot of free time when you think about it.” he chuckled.

“My bulb does light up, and it can reach to one million watts of electricity!”

“Though, when I was reprogrammed by Wily, it was raised to ten million watts...Not anymore of course.”

“Ready,” she confirms. “Where are we going?” She asks innocently, totally not trying to get the answer from Lena even though she probably won’t.

Kara had been so incredibly excited the entire rest of the day; she can’t wait to see what Lena has in store. ————

Lena pushes the elevator button and while they are waiting, she gently squeezes Kara’s hand saying, "It’s a surprise, but I think you’ll like it.”

When the elevator doors open, Lena ushers the hero inside and she doesn’t let go of her hand until they reach the garage, and Lena gently pulls her hand free to open the car door for Kara.

Once they are both inside, Lena looks at Kara with a certain vulnerability that she rarely shows. "Being with makes me really happy." She says barely above a whisper.
