The magical surges in Fillory were, it seemed, far more severe than Sebastian had originally believed. Which, considering the surges had woken him from a God granted and magically induced coma, he had already supposed them to be pretty damn remarkable. Still, he hadn’t expected anything to affect the portals he and Jane had created in and around Fillory. He knew them like the back of his hand. So, when he stepped into a portal in Loria and stepped out of it on Earth, he was a little rattled.
Particularly when Earth looked like... well... Whatever the town calling itself Storybrooke was. Which, to put it simply, was VERY different from the world he had left behind. But, when you had been the ruler of another planet and had fought in multiple great wars... you developed a pretty keen knack for rolling with the punches.
“Excuse me” he begged of a man on the sidewalk of the little town he had walked into. “You wouldn’t happen to know where I might find a decent map, would you?”
