"Hey Narek, quit yapping and come pick up this meal, huh?" Billy grunted in Narek's direction. They were a little busy and his ears had picked up somebody saying something to Narek he didn't like to hear- even over the din.

Narek was cute but that didn't mean he was worthy of being dehumanized and embarrassed. So when Narek came for the food, Billy put his hand over the other's so he couldn't walk away right away.

"You don't take that shit from any Alpha, okay?" he said, looking the other in the eye. "You get uncomfortable, you let me know and they'll starve until they apologize to you. Properly."

"Narek! To your left!" Dennis chirped. Hopefully Narek had good reflexes or he was about to get splashed with cold water behind the tavern.

Dennis had gotten back from his survey work a little early and had decided to be helpful around camp. They'd needed some help at the tavern with some of the heavier pots and he was made for that sort of thing- so he was being helpful and grinning and enjoying the sun.

Unfortunately, it was a bit of a splash zone back behind the tavern at the moment. With minimal mud since they had some stones laid down so it wouldn't get all muddy.
