Allie leaned against the hood of her car. Was this creepy? Maybe, but he wasn't answering her texts, and she had needs. She scuffed her shoe against the pavement, inpatient as ever. She'd worn a dress, one she knew Isaac liked, because that's how needy she was right now.
"You look cute with your backpack. So studious," Allie calls out as she sees him leaving the library.

"Look, you might be my future wife if we're not both married by 45, but that does not give you the right to make fun of my hat." True to form, Nate looked ridiculous. For a man that could be as charming as he liked and often looked pretty close to suave if not cute, the bunny ears cap and cartoon bunny t-shirt looked even more comical than they should. But even he wasn't going to allow the slander against his new favourite tee.
Looking over to Ryan, Nate gestured to the basket carrying bunny he was wearing. "It's cool, right, bud? You're dying for me to buy you an identical one for Easter next year, aren't you?" He was met with a look of pure disgust from Allie's son and as he placed a hand over his heard in mock heartbreak, Nate looked to his best friend. "I blame you for his heartbreaking ways. You share the same 'please stop acting like you know me' look and it's very hurtful."
Shaun: hadn't left the hospital since Allie had been admitted and he was sure the nurses were starting to remember his name. He just wished Allie did. Briefly he stepped out to get her a teddy bear - that's what you give someone who can't remember you, right? Entering her room, he placed the teddy bear in front of his face and began to speak, "Hi Allie I'm Teddy, I hear you're having trouble with your memory. I'm here to help!" He removed the bear and smiled with a small shrug, "It's corny, I know, but, ya know. Thought you might need a new memory since your old ones are kind of.. ya know."
WHAT: Drunk and heartbroken, Shaun and Allie hang out and get even more smashed -- but their nightly drinking of awesomeness ends not as expected.

NOTES: Oh shit, son!
Shaun liked to think that he wasn't someone who got emotional over girls, but there was always one girl that could get under his skin and that was Mariah Wilde. He felt like an idiot. He was turning over a new leaf - he had stopped drinking, starting watching those really annoying RomComs to get a better idea of what she may want, and he was opening up more. That was the hardest. Not the drinking or the endless hours wondering why Nicholas Sparks makes so much money over the same damn script, but the opening up. He had never given himself to someone and he had done so with Mariah, but that doesn't matter now does it? She was with Sebastian, she made her choice and so Shaun made his. His choice involved a bottle of Jack and his best friend Allie. She was going through the same thing he was so she was the perfect person to get drunk and do stupid shit with. They were already half-way through the bottle by the time Shaun decided he was hot and started taking off his shirt in sad frustration. "I'm stuck." He said, as his head sat stuck in his shirt, "Quick call someone."
Allie couldn't believe what was happening to her. Sure, she should have seen it coming. It was Sebastian after all and he was actually a pain in the butt but she had taken that chance and fallen for him. Go figure, that was just the girls luck. Letting out a angry sigh, she looked around only to notice Shaun who was sitting with his shirt over his head and she couldn't help but to let out a soft giggle whenever she did. He was her best friend, she couldn't have imagined going through the same situation with anyone other than him and that fact made her feel like it was okay to be upset about it. Walking over to him, she laughed a little and pulled his shirt up off of his head and tossed it onto the couch. "You okay?" She asked, slightly flushed cheeks while trying to manage to stay standing up. "It is hot in here, huh?"
Shaun took an overdramatic breath once his head was released from his shirt, "I'm alive!!" He placed his hands on her shoulders, "I thought I was a goner. One more second under and I could've died. You saved me! All hail Queen Allie of Shirts!" He chuckled lowly before collapsing on the small couch in his basement. Well, there was one perk of "being good" for as long as he did, Mr. Evans wasn't too concerned about what he was up to. Not that anyone really was to begin with. "Are you gonna take off your shirt too? I won't look." He placed his hands over his eyes, though leaving a small opening between his index and middle finger.
Allie laughed as he was being overdramatic, knowing if there was one thing about drunk Shaun, it was that he was overdramatic. Though she loved it anyway. She was feeling it more as she took another drink and turned to look back up at him. "Queen Allie of Shirts! I like it a lot. It should be a thing. You can be King Shaun of Shirts or just of Allie Problems." She teased and then sat down beside him as she groaned at the heat that she was feeling from being drunk and she couldn't exactly avoid it though she did try. "Mhm, I am." She watched him cover his face and giggled again as she pulled it off and tossed it to the side and sat back on the couch, her head resting on his shoulder. "You can look, I don't really care. I'm hotter than her, you must know that by now."
Shaun beamed proudly, "King Shaun of Shirts. I like that. All hail King Shaun and Queen Allie!" Shaun, clearly looking as Allie took her shirt off, dropped his hands when her hand was placed on his shoulder. "Oh yeah, crazy hotter." He smiled and in his drunken state would agree that Allie was hotter than Mariah - though he was unsure if he was agreeing out of spite or if he truly thought one identical twin was hotter than the other. Though Allie was smokin' in her own way, he never thought of her as more than a friend or maybe a hook-up if the topic ever came up. As crazy as it sounded coming from Shaun's subconscious he really loved his friendship with Allie and didn't want to ruin that. He grabbed the bottle and took one long swig before passing it to her. "Ya know, ya know, we... we should like really take our minds off off off this shit." He burped, "That doesn't count."
Allie took in the expression on his face with a smile and loved knowing that she made him happy, even if it was just a little bit. She knew that was all that it really took to make someone forget even though it was temporary. A temporary bliss was how she viewed it. Whenever Shaun agreed, she was a little shocked but only because he had been so into Mariah prior to that but she was so mad at her and Sebastian that she would do anything to knock her sister down a notch and Sebastian, too. "Thank you." She said in a soft tone before chewing on her lip. She wouldn't ever date Shaun, not for the fact of anything bad but that he was such a good friend to her. Sure, he tried to get her to have a little more fun and poked at her more than most people would but she loved that about them. He was a good part of her life and she didn't want to lose that. Hearing his next comment, she nodded her head in agreement as she looked up at him, sitting up in the process. "Yes, we should. What would you wanna do? We could totally go swimming. I'm hot, you're hot, water is cold. It works, dude."
Shaun "I was gonna say bungee jumping, but that sounds much more fun!" Sober, tipsy, or drunk Shaun was still Shaun. He was still the guy that loved the thrill of fun and adventure. He wanted to do so many things before he died or got settled into one spot. It was funny really. He never thought about settling down or any of that annoying old people talk until Mariah came around, but that doesn't matter anymore. He was on his own path and he was going to do whatever he needed to let go of the past and move forward. And if swimming with his best friend was what he needed then dammit that's what he was going to do. He hopped from the couch, stumbled a bit, then smiled once his composure was back. "Let's do this!"
Allie watched as Shaun stood up and laughed to herself as she stood up herself. She could only hope that he didn't fall down whenever he did though. Turning around, she made her way up the steps, not so gracefully. Matter of fact, she almost fell a few times but that was okay she was sure that Shaun did, too. Getting to the top, she spotted Shaun's brother and she waved at him with a bright smile. "Hey Sam Evans or Scott!" Making her way past him, she watched him go to the steps and off to bed and she ran on back to the pool. "Come on. Let's do it."
Shaun followed her up the steps, holding onto the half-assed railing that his dad had promised for months to fix but never gotten around too. Luckily he didn't fall backwards and break anything - not that he would've cared or thought much of it in his drunken state. He did, however, make sure that Allie didn't fall backwards and was pretty pleased that they made it all the way up the stairs without fault. Seeing his brother he smiled, unsure and unconcerned with which brother it was. Catching up with Allie to his backyard he began to wiggle around in his jeans before stripping them off. "Yo, yo yo idea!" He wet his lips, grabbing her arm, "Let's skinny dip!"
Allie turned around whenever Shaun spoke, watching him take off his clothes, raising her eyebrows. Laughing loudly, she grabbed onto her jeans, unbuttoning them as she pushed them down off of her hips. Hopping on one foot, she pulled her jeans off of her leg and then tossed them to the side as she went to unhook her bra. "Yeah! Let's do it. I like that idea." Tossing her bra off to the side, she looked down and laughed. Leaning to his ear, she whispered into his ear. "I'm naked. Okay. Who goes first?" She asked, looking at the water then back to him again.
Shaun wasn't shy no matter what state he was in. He was beyond confident in his body and any chance he got to take off his clothes he was going to go for it. Quickly he began to take off his boxers and socks as soon as Allie agreed to the naked impromptu water fest. "Naked Allie!" He giggled - yes giggled - looking her up and down and noticing just how similar she was to her sister. Not that he was going to say that, though he opened his mouth to do so, but stopped himself when he heard a dog howl. Good call, he supposed. "Ladies first!"
Allie was more than ready to get into the water, she knew that it would be very worth it and plus, fun was more than fun with Shaun. "Ladies first!" She shouted before moving back to the gate in his backyard. Making a run for it, she almost fell but she made it into the pool only tripping once she did. She hit the water, thankfully but she hit her head hard on the bottom whenever she did. Then that was it, knocked out cold and her head floated to the top of the water just for Shaun to see, obviously.
Shaun watched Allie excitedly make a run for the water, "WUUU go Allie!" He cheered as she ran nearly slipping but landing in the water smoothly, but something wasn't right. He continued to cheer and dance around a bit, but he heard no splash back or screams of glee. Everything was still. "Allie?" He blinked rapidly, swallowing harshly as he saw her body floating in the water. "Allie! If you're joking this is really rude." He walked towards her, "Come on, jokes over... right?" He bent down to the pool, "Allie?" He jumped in and swam hard towards her, lifting her from the pool, "Allie, hey hey wake up." The cold water had alerted him though he was pretty drunk and pretty scared. He pulled her back out of the water and pressed an ear to her mouth, "Fuck fuck. I don't know fuckin' CPR, fuck fuck. Okay, you do... um... this thing and then this thing." He said as he tried to remember how he saw it on a TV show once. He pressed on her chest then held her nose, opening her mouth and blowing into it, "I think I'm killing her... DAD!!!!!!" He screamed as he continued but nothing was happening. "DAD! MOM!!!" He screamed until they reached them, "I think... I think I killed her."
