Suraj waved a hand as they stepped out of the Crashdown and made their way over to Emmett. They handed him the milkshake and then took a quick look around. “Where did you want to go this time?” they asked, more excited since the last time, it would seem that Emmett knew all the places that Suraj had never heard off around town, and they loved these new adventures and places. @fckemms​

“I just don’t really get it.” Emmett commented to the person sitting next to him, his typical condescending look was on. “Why are the people who got exposed still hanging around? And their families? That’s embarrassing. Not sure what part of it is more embarrassing though, the fact that they couldn’t keep their shit under wraps or the fact that now everyone here has to know about it.” If he was speaking honestly, he was fully expecting Maia to be amongst those people and when she wasn’t, he figured she was just better at keeping her shit on the down low. Which in itself was shocking to him. “Some people have no shame I guess.” He concluded with a shrug.

Emmett spotted Maia and Jackson, having heard that Maia had a new boyfriend but he didn’t have the chance to really talk to him yet and so this was his chance. Making his way over to the two of them, he had a mischievous grin on his face as he usually did. “Pretty wild what happened yesterday at graduation, huh?” He asked once he reached them, Maia rolling her eyes at his mere presence, already getting ready to take Jackson and leave. “You know, Maia,” he started when he spotted her expression. “It seems like you do belong here, seeing how problematic these kids are too.” He joked, although he meant every word.

Maia was unamused with his joke, but she needed to have Emmett leave, or simply just walk away with Jackson from him because Emmett had no tact in his words with Maia. “That’s great.” She said flatly, her expression clearly displeased with him. “Let’s go.” Maia said to Jackson before she took his arm and began making her way away from Emmett. 

“Go where?” Emmett asked immediately. “I just got here.”

Jasper was genuinely happy to see his brother. He hadn’t known he was here, but he was glad to see him. “Emmett! How are you?”
