Nothing Changes

“The mission hasn’t changed, we still need to get Dr. Grinter’s information. We’ll just have to hope that we can get into one of the workstations or that Hunnigan can do it remotely and we can lift the information that way.”
Because they weren’t getting it out of the scientist slumped against the wall of the hallway in a pool of his own blood with bullet in the head and one in the heart. Professional work for sure.
The days of written notes or printed reports was pretty much gone unfortunately. Though with how notoriously bad scientists’ handwriting tended to be, it was probably for the best.
At least it wouldn’t be a damned escort mission any longer. While it may have been easier to get it out of a person with self-preservation instincts, Leon wasn’t a big fan of escorting corrupt scientists anywhere and computers tended not to mouth off.
“Come on. Let’s hope whoever was here before us didn’t wipe the local databases.”
