Bram sighs as he sits on the bench, happy to have a break from jogging. He looks towards the other. "It's so hot today. I have an extra sports drink if you want it?"

Yeon was bored and had decided to walk around for a bit. He was hoping to find something different, but he’d ended up in his favorite shop, as usual. There wasn’t anything he really needed here, but he always left with at least one thing. Today he was on a mission to find Vax a present, but he wasn’t sure what to get him. He saw Vex and smiled, waving her over. “Vex! Hey!”

The dockyards of Sector Five’s harbor were hectic in the hours of the earliest morning. His mind unsettled, Snowdrift left his house and walked here, hoping to clear his mind of the concerns that had kept him up. One of them was that he was feeling disconnected from the place. It was strangely similar to his first few weeks here – he did enough to get by, barely enough to keep the dojo functional…but he was stuck in a shell that was thicker than a turtle’s.
He found a bench that overlooked the piers, stretching towards the sea, and closed his eyes. In a moment, a puff of air escaped his lips. He had so many people that he knew here, yet he didn’t know if he could talk to them. Another concern…a small one at first, but it had become something larger.
Snowdrift leaned back in his seat and sighed. If his concerns were a bonfire, they would surely light up a good amount of the city with the weight they held in his mind. He took in a long breath and exhaled in a manner much like that of junior monks when they were first learning to meditate. Perhaps the oldest methods were the best ones.
His eyes opened. He could sense he wasn’t alone. Wan’s ears twitched as he made out footfalls; faint though they were, he could only just detect them. Very few pedestrians were out at this hour, and the police didn’t show up much these days, and certainly not near the harbor.
The old monk sat up a little straighter. He could see the silhouette of a person against a tree. “I see someone else couldn’t sleep.” He spoke clearly, not so loud that it would carry a great distance, but loud enough that none of his words would be lost. “Care to join me?” He gestured to the rest of the bench, his palms open to indicate he meant no harm.
