Hojun was not supposed to harass the younger generation. It was not part of the ‘Adam’ brand, but Daehyun just made it so damn easy. Dae had a habit of being his voice of reason, even though Hojun was older and (supposedly) wiser (though neither of them believed that). Hojun liked spending time with him, though he never understood why, but that did not mean he was not above teasing him and occasionally propositioning him. He was not blind and Daehyun was just so eager to please. Yes, Hojun would look out for him during Running Man. However, he would also let his hand occasionally slip somewhere that would probably make Dae blush, but would not be considered inappropriate.
Albeit, he was surprised when he wandered on to the big parking lot where they were going to have their little competition. He had been expected another B.rite member, Wei. Spotting Daehyun had certainly perked up his mood. He put on his best smile and walked over to Daehyun, quickly enveloping the younger man in a back hug that would probably make a fan scream somewhere if it was caught on tape. “I did not expect to see you here, Daehyun. What happened to the other guy?” Not that it mattered to him. He much preferred this arrangement. “Or did you just want to come see me that badly?”
He should have been in full Honey-mode, but Hojun always found himself relaxing around Daehyun. Usually that resulted in a lecture, but it was still calming. Maybe it was because when Dae was nice, it was not fake like Hojun’s kindness. He really was that sweet of a boy. In most people, that would make him nauseous. In Dae, it made him want to give him a cupcake. “Don’t need to get all flustered. It’s completely natural. I know I am your favorite hyung. But you’re going to make your other members jealous.”
Deciding he had enough of teasing the guy for now, he stopped his back hug and proceeded to pat his back exactly once. “Don’t worry though, we are going to crush them today if I have anything to say about it.” Hojun might have had a reputation as a sweetheart, but he was still competitive. Also, over a decade of hapkido certainly kept him in shape.
