He wasn't avoiding Blue, more just debating how to approach him, the picture of them burning a hole in his wallet every time he saw him around the Commune. From what he'd seen and what Karma had said he was a pretty quiet guy, which felt oddly comforting considering how he'd been before meeting Karma. He'd started taking his lunches at Country Roads, keeping to himself as he mused over what to do. The owner's attitude that day throwing him, the guy seeming in a bad mood. He'd been about to take a seat when he saw Blue sitting alone, pausing as he walked by, "Someone shit in your boss's cereal this morning or I just catch him on a bad day? Mural seems fine to me, not sure why he seems so pissed at it."

even after all this time, he still manages to catch her off guard when he says things like this. from anyone else, it would sound like a total line, but she knows ivar is sincere. “you’re too sweet.” she moves in closer to press a kiss to his cheek. “how long will you be gone?”

the second blue hears the door start to open, she’s rushing to greet him. it doesn’t matter how long they’ve been together or how short the job is, nothing is better than ivar coming home to her. the only thing that’s changed along the way is she has enough patience now to let him get all the way inside before she pulls him into a hug. “i missed you.”

Neptune was heading out of his room when he spotted Blue down the hall, walking over to him he gave a small wave. "Yo. You heading into town or just get back?" he asked curiously. Stuffing his hands into his pockets before he said, "Was about to head out and just see where I end up."
