The last thing she remembered was the messenger falling to the floor as an arrow struck through his abdomen. She was pulled away by her guard, and broke out into a sprint as they fought for a way to escape the palace and retreat into the safety of the woods.
Guards were scattered along the floor, wounded and some even passed on. Her eyes widened as she took in the scene and she desperately tried to stop, to help them in anyway.
