Sipping on what seemed to be her seventh cup of coffee, Teresa leaned over the rail of the library cart as she lazily pushed it around the library. In her half-assed attempt to look like she wasn't hungover, she hid behind her heartshaped sunglasses. That was the last time she would drink in the middle of the week, she told herself rather sternly. But that was a piece of advice she would conveniently forget when the next party rolled up. Wishing she was dead, she paused in front of the romance section of the library and face planted on her arm to groan loudly. "Kill me." At realizing she had spoken aloud, she glanced up to see Lara in front of her. "How long have you been standing there?" She asked, lifting her sunglasses up to get a good look at Lara. Fuck, how the hell did she look so damn good all the time? "Pax isn't here." She blurted out without thinking. Biting her lips as if wanting to take her words back, Teresa winced at her bluntness. Then in a softer voice, she added, "I mean... if you're looking for him, he isn't here."
