Jaiden waved when he spotted Mason, walking over holding out the book he'd just collected from the library. He was careful not to jostle Nurse who was across his chest on blanket sling in her pink dress. "Hello, I have something for you," he said holding out a handmade printed copy of the Cirque du Freak manga, "I have the other volumes on my tablet if you prefer electronic, but I prefer physical."
“Fuck!” Jasper exclaimed, holding his hand over his chest as he failed to hear the other approach him over the music he had been playing, testing out the piano in front of him. “You really just appeared out of nowhere, huh? Tried to give me a heart attack or something.”

the man walked around the club he so proudly owned, making his way up the stairs looking over the party goers. he had been on this earth long enough, that nothing impressed him nor did he care about anything, but his club? that was the one thing he would always take pride in. smiling at the ladies who had passed him, he headed back downstairs and to the bar. his eyes setting place on a certain blonde, someone he’s never seen before. he let his eyes travel down the length of her body before turning to the bartender and ordering some bourbon before making his way over to the mystery girl. “well, i haven’t seen you here before.” mason gave her an award winning smile, leaning against the table she was by.

Jaiden double checked his phone to make sure it was the right time that Mason was suppose to be getting off work. Spotting him he walked up, "My best friend has become obsessed with the abandoned Taco Bell, is it really that interesting in there? I've been trying to think of something more attention grabbing in this town, but I haven't found anything. At this rate I'm afraid they'll find something in there and actually eat it."

"So when is the last time you were actually able to go hunting?" Jaiden asked as he stopped in front of a tree. Taking out his phone he zoomed in to get a better picture of the spider web, surprised to find one out in the cold.
Mason leaned against the doorframe, watching Jessia for a moment before speaking. "Do you want me to stay or do you want me to go?" He offered to take her home and he did. He didn't want to push boundaries or make her uncomfortable but this whole 'comforting someone' thing wasn't what he did. It hadn't been what he did in a long time. He knew that it was obvious, too, but he felt the need to. His brother had inflicted the pain, so he felt it was his job to fix it. Just like he did all those years ago with his mother.

"Oh no, no, no." Tori protested, all but digging her heels into the floor as though that would stop the other from being able to drag her along it. "Just because I've put on a dress and that it's about to be a new year and people really like to drive home that 'new year, new me' bullshit, does not mean that I'm playing into it all and have changed my stances on dancing." She protested.

Tori couldn't help but ask as she approached the other, sipping on whatever sparkly, gothic drink that she had picked up from one of the tables set out around the hall. "I know this isn't the usual setting for Halloween, but the Yule Ball band always sounded good, so you could still rock it in here."
