who: @amyinnile
what: Renée & Amy @ The Bean
title: Tracking Down Anonymous
Renée had just gotten off work, itching to talk to Amy. No one seemed to relate to her desperation to know who the artist was. It had stirred up chatter, but nothing even attempting to scratch the surface. Renée had reached out to Amy to see if she had any info, but last she heard from her was still no dice. Since then, Renée had come up with one small lead that she was almost positive was something. Regardless, she wanted to share the details and catch up with her friend.
With the new secret tucked away in her oversized brown leather tote, she walked into The Bean with a newfound confidence in the ability to find their culprit. She scanned the room for Amy but she was nowhere to be found. Damn. Fine, ordering first is best anyway.
She made her way up to the counter, luckily it was the one time of day that no line had formed. Iced Americano. JJ had turned her onto iced drinks. She used to only drink hot black coffee, no cream or sugar. Calories. But now she had a new fave. She placed her order with someone who must have been new today—the other barista always remembered her order—and found seats. Two armchairs tucked away in the corner. She pulled off her jacket, draping it over the arm of the chair before getting comfortable. As soon as she was, her order was called from the bar. She left her purse in place of herself in the chair before going to grab her drink.
