@cueious
“So you really don’t think we’re meant to be? I mean I’ve been proposing to you since first grade with ring pops what else could you want?” Park asked as he looked at them with a semi serious look. He’d tried everything to gain their affection but what else was there to do?
@rxdiantx
“Well if you weren’t out here looking so hot you wouldn’t have caught me staring - I’m pretty sure every guy here did the same thing, only difference is I’m smart enough to get caught because now we’re talking and I have a chance to ask if you want to go to the back room.” Park wasn’t actually asking, in fact he was a little embarrassed he got caught but playing it off seemed like the only way out of it, but he wouldn’t go back on his fake offer if she accepted.
Another Park, Another Saturday || Brooklyn & OPEN
The worst part about being shy was dreading Saturdays. While Brooklyn had already taken her younger sisters to their dance classes, she had little more to do than wander about town and hope to god that nobody actually noticed her. It wasn't as if she had to pick her sisters up from their classes -- a dance mom would drive them home -- but Brooklyn never liked to be too far away, just in case something happened.
She walked in circles, for the most part -- covering the same ground that she did every Saturday until she decided that taking a right instead of a left was in order. Why not be spontaneous? It wasn't as if anyone would notice. Nobody ever did.
A moment was taken to inwardly chastise and push pessimistic thoughts away as she walked on, landing herself in a park that was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday afternoon. It was strange -- really kind of surreal -- that the park would be so quiet, but she thanked her lucky stars and clutched her backpack a little tighter as she headed to a set of swings that was unoccupied. From her vantage point she could watch the children and idly swing herself, counting down the minutes and hours until she could go home with the knowledge that her mother might be there.
