he wasted no time pulling the other into his lap once they got close enough. his arms snaked around her waist and a smile rested over his face, “hey,” he cooed, “i missed you today.” trevor stated. he had always kind of been a soft guy but even more so around his partner. he never wanted them to feel as though he didn’t care about them. “so much that i even got you something. you want to open it now or after dinner?”

trevor appreciated annie and everything she did for him. she supported not only his baseball dream but helped him through his classes. it wasn’t like he was stupid but he definitely relied on her a bit to help him better understand his classes. she was way better at explaining things than his professor’s were. he flopped over on his bed, looking over at her. “i can’t take anymore of this studying.” he groaned. they’d been at it for hours and he’d rather be spending time with her doing things that he enjoyed. “can’t we take a break?” he asked, opening up his arms for her. “you could join me here and i’ll put on a movie and we can pick that up afterwards.” he suggested. “plus, i think resting with you will help me win my game tomorrow. speaking of, you’re still coming, right?”

“Thought of plans since you knew I was pregnant?” her brows raised as she started to walk off but god she was pissed, a prenup, really? She’d heard all about them and did not like the sound of it at all. “Put it in both our names or, do you think I’m going to snatch that money and run off? I’m not entertaining the idea Trevor because not everything is decided by what you want to happen. If you think I’m so out for the money think about this, I gave you everything I have, anything I could I gave to you..I make what I thought was a joke and you start sprouting out a prenup already planned out. Enjoy your food Trev.” Eden went out on the balcony in their bedroom just, sat there looking out at all the lights, the nightlife.. she could see her old apartment block from here, could see the apartment she was going to buy. 

“Come on Eden you know me do you really think I wouldn’t?” Trevor rolled his eyes at her cheap shot. “Yes your name is on it Eden, and no I didn’t think that nor do I think that now. You aren’t even listening to what I’m saying your just getting pissed at me.” He told her as he just dropped the  fork not interested in the food. “You don’t think I haven’t given you everything Eden? It takes two to tango.” He shouted out at her as she walked away. He just put the food away and grabbed a few things. He left her a note. Enjoy your night alone, took the boy, be back in the morning. Trevor grabbed what he needed for Colby and got the boy into his car, he checked into a hotel for the night and just curled up with his son figuring Eden wasn’t going to let him in bed anyways so he got another bed.

trevor wasn’t exactly thrilled with the fact that he was paired with the other. it wasn’t that he really had anything against him but it was just that he made him feel something that he wasn’t familiar with when it came to be in the company of a guy. it was almost the same way he’d felt around his girlfriend when they first met but...being around tristan, despite not knowing much about him, was more intense. he tried his best to switch partners but his professor wasn’t having it and so he settled across from the other who had agreed to meet him in the library. “let’s just get this over with, yeah?” @brckensociety​

Trevor glanced over at them, he hadn’t expected a night off to go like this. He had finished with work at noon, came home to take her out. But yet she was holed up in the bathroom still. “Babe come on, were going to miss our reservations if you don’t leave that bathroom. Don’t make me call a contractor to come remove that door.” He called out, the end teasingly. He leaned back against the bed wondering why most of the afternoon was spent with her not in his arms. He wasn’t often out of the office but he was trying to put the effort into their relationship and well make her feel special.

“From me! I am trying to protect you from me. Because the moment were seen together outside the walls of my office or the pent house, your privacy will vanish. Every tabloid this side of the river will want to know about every little dirty secret. I don’t want to subject you to that Eden or the baby.” He told her, she thought that this was all about the baby but it wasn’t. It wasn’t the night she fell asleep on his shoulder and he realized he was in love with her, it wasn’t every other night after that. “I’m sorry you don’t want to listen to the next planned scandals, but those scandals keep you safe, keep you with having the life that you have outside of me.” Though that life killed him because he wanted to be apart of it. He had thought this would be simple, she’d be a surrogate and he’d get a child out of the deal but then she had to end up as the damn light of his life. When she said she quit he felt his heart stop... because a life without her in it? His empire would mean nothing again. “You quit what...?” He asked cautiously but he didn’t want to know, he didn’t want to hear the words he knew was coming next. She was to soft for a life with him, and maybe it was for the best he let her walk away. Because then she’d get to live the life she wanted and well he’d keep his mouth shut and suck it up having a woman he loved leave him again.

His assistant had set this up for him, his mind had been full lately of thoughts, problems, and a million things that needed fixing he was at his breaking point. Except when you were the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company you couldn’t just crack like that. She had assured him that she had done this a few times and that it’d help him to just de-stress so he was going to try this yoga thing, even if he wasn’t all that flexible and his usual workout was with his trainer but he figured this wouldn’t hurt. He walked into the room and saw a bunch of people sitting on yoga mats he found one for himself and set his phone and towel next to him, the screen insistently kept lighting up with this alert or the next, Trevor had yet to figure out a way to part with his phone the bane of his existence really.

trevor and annie’s relationship, he felt, continued to get more and more serious. summer was coming up and he didn’t know whether she was planning on going home or potentially keeping him company. either way, he felt as though their future from here on out should definitely be something that the two of them should discuss. “you know,” he started, his bottom lip coming between his teeth due to nerves, “i was thinking...” he was typicially pretty confident but relationships always made him overthink and worry way more than he should. “maybe...we could move out of the dorms and into an apartment together.”
