[[Sorry for poofing these last few days! tl;dr: I got really sick and landed in the hospital--whoopsy daisy. Finally feeling up to writing something today, so I figured that an explanation and thread tracquer would be nice--under the cut!]]

So, where have I been? Where the heck has Barry been? And why did they have to do regular Linoone dirty like that? Well, I’ve got nothing for that last one--it’s a Galarian household now--I do have some answers for the other stuff!

Long story short: I started feeling really tired while doing activity check (lol) on Sunday eve, and so I passed out. When I woke up, I felt RLY sick and dizzy. When I looked in the mirror, my ear, jaw and neck were all crazy swollen. I looked like the big-cheeks Mii. I thought a Weezing head was gonna pop out of my shoulder. I managed to drive myself to urgent care--thankfully just a few mins away--and the good doctor immediately diagnosed me with a hella-aggressive infection. I got put on an IV, and they finally let me go yesterday afternoon. (Big ups to Ash for handling the rest of AC on such short notice btw!!)

So basically, I’ve been sleeping. And taking antibiotics. And praising the makers of Ibuprofen (they are responsible for the existence of this post). And most importantly, I think I have everything under control for now. I am very tired, but OK!

Which brings me to my next point: I can’t seem to write Barry at the moment because the energy isn’t there quite yet. When I’m out of it, Barry is really out of it--and you guys deserve him at his best! Thanks to my thread partners for being patient--I’ll try my best to write him VERY SOON, hopefully this weekend! I’m sorry to keep everyone waiting!

ooc - the thread and the heart

Howdy WEople--this is your resiDant mun here, just letting you all know that I’m not dead (rumors have been greatly exaggerated). Sorry for the radio silence this week! Thread tracker + other updates under the cut!

So where have I been all this time? Well, to keep the answer short, simple, and crisp: school. Grad school has consumed my writing abilities, my free time, every fiber of my being, etc. Right now, I’m currently working on an end-of-semester analysis report thingy (that requires way too many pages), so my schedule lately has been work, get home, cry over a Hot Pocket, write until bed, rinse, repeat. My will to write creatively has been tested, but I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel--I will definitely be back in full force by early May. Count on that! Until then, replies will be happening, but in a slow trickle...like, I swear I turned the faucet off but it’s still dripping a teensy bit trickle. You feel me!

Hey all, happy St. Patty’s day from up in the frosty north! As always, school and work are taking huge bites out of my writing time so I appreciate your patience. :)

Long story short, your resident FunOldDan is going back to VEGAS BABY (until 5/22!) for a wedding (not mine!).  

There’s one big difference between the first time I went and now. The first time I went, I was three. Now, I am 23. It’s lit. Thanks to the mod squad for holding down the fort while I blow my entire life savings on blackjack and biers.
