he's sort of embarrassed at how excited he got. So many new things he was learning ( both about himself and the outside world he'd neglected himself from. ) The bonds that he was making in replacement with the ones that was cut from his past made each day feel like it was worth living. Though he too himself , was a man of few words , Videl was very good at listening. So when the subject of visiting the others shop comes up , he gets a little excited.
‘ antiques ‘ , history , arts , it’s always interested him. He hasn’t visited many historical sites on his own , but he’d like to go. He wants to learn as much as he could.
“ i would . . . . “ he starts , hands fold in front of him , this would be good , he needs to press nerves behind him. “ i want to go. “ ||
"Right." It was Iwai himself who extended the invitation, but now he almost regretted it - because, what in the world were they going to talk about on the way there, and how was he meant to entertain the younger man after he'd finished going through each of the aisles at the store? "Get in." He hadn't meant to sound like he was kidnapping the poor guy to sell his organs, but Videl was being a bit too polite standing there with his hands clasped almost formally over his front.
The boxes that he had helped carry were stashed neatly in the boot, not quite closing but secured by a couple of elastic ropes with hooks. For the short trip, it shouldn't land them in any trouble. "Don't hold your hopes too high," Iwai warned him beforehand. "It's not exactly a huge place."
