The children's section of the library was Oliver's favorite place in the whole world. It was good that he was into books, even if he wasn't the best at reading just yet. Caroline thought it meant that he would turn out to be much smarter than she was - a few paragraphs and Caroline would just completely fatigue from reading. It wasn't something that made her proud in the slightest.
"Okay, pick a picture book to practice your reading this week then we'll head to the store." Caroline said to her son, who soon bolted off but knew to remain in her line of vision. That was when Caroline caught Ema in the corner of her eye.
"Hey, fancy seeing you here." She teased, with a smile. "Looking for anything in particular?"
