Valentine’s Day Event
One might have thought an event like a Valentine’s Day blind date was much too cheesy and kitschy for someone like Walter, but on the contrary, these were the sort of events he put high on his priority list. He was new in town; so new, that he hadn’t even unpacked his suitcase yet. With how low-key this thing was supposed to be, he was hoping to meet someone to give him the lowdown on the town, and if he could catch them off-guard, maybe even answer a couple questions. If they were interesting enough. He dressed sharply and shaved his face for the night to be as professional as possible, and waited early on the steps of the Mermaid Museum for his date. Walter wanted to be there first, so that he wouldn’t be the one looking around for them. He turned around at the sound of steps coming up the walkway. “Hello,” he scanned up and down at a woman with blonde hair, “Are you my date for this evening?”
