Hindsight | 3 Ninjas | Chapter Eighteen - Read on FFN
Rated: T
Authored by: Rhuben
OCs that appear: The Jacksons
Full Summary: In hindsight, Rocky, Colt, and Tum-Tum Douglas should have asked more questions. When it’s uncovered that Hugo Snyder’s connection to the Douglas’s past is more extensive than previously thought, everything they thought they knew gets questioned. At a formidable time of their lives, the boys find themselves walking the thin line of acting or staying out of the way when they find that danger is closer to home than ever before. Figuring out girls, and which colleges to apply to should have been the only obstacles in their lives but keeping up with homework, social lives, and responsibilities at home fall by the wayside as worry and tension builds. Snyder has wanted nothing more than to see Sam Douglas go down, and he will do anything to make it happen – they all should have seen it coming.
19Here is your card for Bad Things Happen Bingo. Happy writing!
So, I’ve decided to start writing fan fiction again and I got a Bad Thing Happen Bingo Card and are open to requests. If anyone is interested, I’m putting a list of fandoms below along with a couple of summaries for original works I am writing. Thank you so much.
Do you have any headcanons for the ninja trio? Maybe some thoughts on their friendship as kids growing up, Kaze and Saizo's bro dynamic, etc :3
Notes: BOY do I have some friend/bro HCs for you. I live for family/friend dynamics.
Ft: Kagero, Kaze, Saizo
Pretraining:
• Saizo was the hothead. Kagero’s the mature one. They don’t often get along but then there’s Kaze.
• Kaze has a streak of mischievousness in him and is the glue that really keeps the trio together
• Saizo was incredibly rowdy as a kid and often got into fights. Kaze and Kagero often have to pull him out. Kaze would tend to Saizo’s wounds, Kagero would do the scolding. Which leads to Saizo snapping back, and Kaze trying his best to placate them both.
• Kagero and Saizo are protective of Kaze. They don’t realise but, Kaze’s extremely protective of them too.
• Kaze is not bothered by the fact that he’s the younger twin or that he’ll never inherit the Saizo name. Saizo on the other hand, though he keeps it well hidden, feels conflicted and gets extremely defensive and aggressive if anyone makes fun of Kaze and woe to those foolish enough to call his twin the ‘spare’.
• Although Saizo keeps his conflicts hidden from Kaze, Kagero on the other hand, knows all about it. Saizo rants to Kagero on things he can’t share with Kaze.
• Playing in the fields as kids they’d have frog catching competitions all the time
• On milder forms of entertainment: Kagero paints (badly), Saizo whittles, Kaze weaves flower crowns and folds grasshopper origami for all of them
Training:
• In training to be Saizo the Fifth, his temper mellowed out as he matured quickly. The reckless, hotheadness is still there, mind, he’s just in better control of his emotions. He also starts to become more distant as the pressures of meeting his father’s and the clan’s expectations starts piling.
• Saizo and Kagero begins to butt head more often as they developed different training and tactical opinions. Trips to the castle became less as training took up most of their time.
• As they got further down the line, the twins were separated and given different training. Where Kaze was sent to continue his training with the other ninjas, Saizo’s training intensified and the classes he took doubled.
• By the time they reunited, they have all grown up and the closeness they once shared was nowhere to be found.
• No one felt the loss more keenly than Kaze
Not sure if anyone reads about the 3 Ninjas but it’s one of my all time favouritesss
You were sitting on your knees in front of the Douglass boys’ grandpa. He had been training them and yourself, to become ninjas. You were kneeling between Samuel and Jefrey, awaiting to get your ninja names. Then their grandpa turns to Sam and begins, “From this day forth until forever, you will be known as Rocky. Because you are strong, solid, and cool as granite rock!” You watch their grandpa pass a green mask over to him. You smile, knowing you’re next and knowing you must be getting a good name too. “Y/n, you’re strong, powerful and full of excitement just like a fire and you hold fire within you, you shall be known as flame!” Your smile grows, you were definitely happy with the name you were given. He the hands you a purple mask, which was very similar to Rocky’s. “Ahh, Jeffrey. Fast and free, spirit of the young wild horse; you shall be known as Colt!” You turned to colt, you smiled at him, you definitely know he has the best name, ‘Colt? That’s cool.’ Colt states as he is given a blue mask. “What about me?” Michael begins, “Can I be Monster Destroyer? Or how about Super Killer?” “How about Super Dork? ” Colt retaliates, you laugh at his remark then hear Michael reply, “Shut up, spazz!” “Ah, little one.” You all turn back to their grandpa awaiting Michael’s name. “Since your energy begins and ends with your tummy; you shall be known as Tum-Tum! ” he hands over a yellow mask to Tum-Tum. That’s when you realise your new masks match your Gi’s, you all smirk at each other and run to put on your Gi’s and masks.
