For various reasons, the hedgehogs are way behind on posting. Please excuse. We love this shop. It is the best kind of brunch spot: great coffee and great food. The only problem is that they are only open until 2 pm. BEWARE hedgehogs. Many of us are late sleepers. GET UP. FYI: half and half is one part milk and one part cream. Who knew?

　本書は、2013年5月12日にAmazon Kindle向けに夫婦でリリースした電子書籍「サードウェーブ！サンフランシスコで体験した最新コーヒーカルチャー」に、同コーヒーカルチャーを代表するサンフランシスコ周辺にある主要焙煎所のCEOへのインタビューや、LA在住のカメラマン俵山忠さんによるカリフォルニアテイストをぞんぶんに伝える写真を加えた「完全版」ともいえる出来です。

　サードウェーブ・コーヒーカルチャーに流れる「オープン」と「シェア」の精神に助けられながら、数珠つなぎのようにインタビューをしていくことができました。茶太郎豆央がバークレーで飲んだコーヒーのおいしさにびっくりことに端を発したこのプロジェクト。

　我々もサードウェーブのカルチャーを「伝える」という形で貢献していけるようになったのではないか、と期待しています。ぜひサンフランシスコ、バークレーにいらっしゃる際は、この本を携えて、一緒にカップを傾けましょう。
