It’s pretty neat to look back and see where you’ve come from once in a while. Growth doesn’t happen in a day, sometimes you have to have to let those skill bake in a conventional oven at 350 degrees for 5 hours uncovered. --- Photo 1: 2016. Nail polish gemstones. First airbrushing attempt with poorly diluted pearlized paints and brushed acrylics??? No clearcoat, I think? Big attempt at a photoshoot. Photo 2: 2017. Clear resin gems. Same paints mixed and applied better. ClearCOAT. A better understanding of lighting, camera settings, and post processing. Photo 3: 2010. Babu's first everything as a teenie bopper. Paper mache, paper clay, brushed acrylics. Edgy use of backyard aesthetic. Photo 4: 2017. Babu's still not so sure about this, Captain, but we're sailin' this ship home. Novice airbrushing that turned out a'ight. Edgier use of backyard aesthetic. Photo 5: Left: Poor attempt at a symmetrical sculpt with zero guidance. VS. Right: 1/2 sculpted, molded, and casted, then sandwiched together in perfect BLT goodness. Yum.
