Thunder | Seiya and Michiru

“This is... unprecedented.”
It wasn’t even really a tour. It was a minor concert in Osaka - far enough away from Tokyo to be inconvenient, close enough that it should have only been a day trip.
Should.
Of course, a surprise downpour would flood the open-air venue. Of course, Michiru’s priceless Stradivarius would be her immediate concern - and of course, her case was water resistant, not waterproof. Of course the electric equipment would short out the minute Seiya lifted a microphone.
Of course it was a difficult enough summer storm with typhoon-strength winds. Of course, the JR Maibara line was cancelled entirely for over 36 hours.
The two drenched stars had been packed off in a taxi the minute any of the staff was able and sent to the nearest hotel -
Where, of course there was only one available room.
And the minute Michiru set her violin down on the tiny table in their tiny hotel room, of course the power would go out.
“Hopefully this isn’t an omen for the rest of our collaboration,” Michiru said wryly as she lifted a towel to her still-dripping hair - and as an afterthought, handed one to Seiya.
“Are you cold?”
