Prompt #24: 'Person A falls asleep, instead of waking them, Person B carries them to bed'.
Rest
Jeongin was too engrossed in the movie to realize you had fallen asleep beside him. Only realizing when the weight of your head on his shoulder caused him to look over at you.
You had slowly fallen over in your slumber, and were now using him as a pillow. Jeongin's heart raced as his eyes studied your sleeping features, a grin spreading across your face.
He debated whether he should wake you, so you could go to bed. But as he lifted his hand towards your shoulder, he hesitated.
You had a busy week, you were exhausted. Jeongin even offered to reschedule movie night, but you insisted since you hadn't seen each other for a few days.
He smiled fondly at you as he gently removed a stray eyelash from your cheek. You really should rest as much as you could. But seeing your uncomfortable position, he bit the inside of his lip as he debated what to do.
After a few minutes he finally decided he was going to carry you to bed. Slowly, and as gently as he could, Jeongin moved to stand, placing his hand under your cheek so you didn't fall over.
Gradually, and painfully slow, he scooped you up into his arms. Quietly, he took you to your room and laid you down on the bed. As your head rested on your pillow, he gently caressed your face.
As he began to rise, you lazily reached out and grabbed his wrist, taking him by surprise.
"Did I wake you?" He asked softly, guilt in his voice.
You mumbled something he couldn't understand as you tugged on his wrist. Crouching down so he could hear you easier, his heart stuttered as he heard a single word.
"Stay."
"You want me to stay?"
You nodded your head ever-so-slightly and he grinned. You two hadn't been dating very long and he had yet to stay over. His heart pounded at your request.
"Are you sure?"
You frowned as you tugged him again and he chuckled. "Okay, okay."
Climbing into the bed behind you, he wrapped his arms around you from behind. You began turning over, and he watched as you cuddled further into his chest. You let out a contented sigh as you grabbed onto his shirt, and he bit back a grin.
Moving his arm under your head, he gently caressed your cheek as you drifted back to sleep in his arms.
