I fell in love for the first time with a man who used to find four-leaf clovers until we started this atypical love story. I kept one, and a few. Then he said I took his luck away, but it’s fine now because I am here with him. Even when it’s fine, I can’t help worrying because the way my head stopped spinning around all of sudden. The way I can hear my own heart trying to synchronize when there’s silence between us. Beats so quiet, but wild. Confused. As confused as I am. My heart attempts to reach my brain, so we are doing our best to find the right words to tell I never felt this way… and I am a little scared. Or maybe not. But I am expectant. So the only thing I can certainly know right now is that it doesn’t matter how fearful I can get this days, he is here to take my hand and make me feel safe. To calm my heart, to give me my breath back again with just a thought. He is there. Is here with me. I got his luck away, so I could find the love in a clover field.
