Instead of a Galarian Rapidash his Riding Pokemon is a Wyrdeer (Comet) and instead of a Raichu he ended up with a Pawmi (Antares).

Adult Thuyet! Hairstyle still largely the same - only so much to be done with hair that naturally spikes up like that - but he DID get floofier!
Still the champ - he said he was gonna break Mustard's record and he meant it - and still battles without maxing his Pokemon. In the off-season he runs a restaurant in Spikemuth!

Thuyet's regular form was designed as a sort of low-key Cinderace gijinka, so he gets Sonic'd into a bunny! Specifically he's a lionhead.

Today's OC was actually requested - it's Thuyet Phan, my most-used Pokemon OC! This is a quasi-redraw of an older pic of him with his partner (Nebula) and service mon (Contessa) - he sometimes uses a can and I wanted to draw him with it. Might digitize this to replace the old one on Art Fight!
Originally from Wyndon, settled in Spikemuth after becoming Champion. While there are die-hards who still prefer Leon, he's a reasonably popular Champion due to being cute and charismatic and for facing down Leon's Charizard without maxing his own Pokemon.
(He stopped using Dyna/Gigantamax after seeing Eternatus and other berserk Pokemon and concluding he couldn't be sure he wasn't doing harm to his Pokemon using it. He won't judge you if you do, but he's not comfortable doing it.)
Also a supreme chef! He met his eventual boyfriend when Seth wandered into his camp, because Seth can't cook to save his life and was worried about poisoning his Pokemon trying.
Aside from cooking his hobbies are music (he learns to play bass eventually), stargazing/astronomy, and cosmetics (he especially likes fancy eyeshadows and liners).
He/him NB (which he didn't realize until he was musing about how it'd be cool if people could be 'undetermined' like some Pokemon and it was pointed out that... they can)
Dangerously aware of his own cuteness
...but serious imposter syndrome and has internalized the idea he needs to be useful to be loved. He's working on it.

I started the Rabbit theme week for Year Of The Rabbit - but my main Galar trainer, Thuyet, is of Vietnamese descent (or the PokeWorld equivalent) and in Vietnam it’s Year Of The Cat! So for today, Thuyet and Nebula get to be cats 🐈⬛
