i did actually draw something for that! but its been lost to the void... this version is loads more accurate, anyway. enya's not small, sarah's just big.

daycember 03; seals / shallows

related most closely to Pelagiarctos, the rock seals that fill up large portions of the black sand beaches are voracious predators and immensely protective of their pups. being one of the few fattier animals on the Island with slower land speed, they are a favorite prey of the day. albeit with very, very infrequent success.

(got distracted + life beating me up ++ going OVERBOARD but still slowly getting em done!)

daycember 02; tide pools

while the tide doesn't vary too much on the Island, when the weather clears, some of the more vibrant sea life becomes visible along the shoreline. sparse pools dot the numerous beaches, and while not a substantial source of food for the larger individuals, does provide a fun variation. though only the bravest of the day venture close enough to the ocean to sample.

i regret to inform you i am, once again, obsessed with her

also being able to draw while using reference! SO good, WHAT have i been doing

pre-tadpole durge enya! post-tadpole is next. and then probably more after that. using this opportunity to actually practice things! it feels like cheating doing lighting with digital its so much easier

some extra drawings and the lighting practice without lines cause im! proud of how they came out!!

taking a note from a few people i've seen and post a bunch of unseen sketches to end the year. and BOY do i have sketches for you!! i may have a favorite.

gonna work on actually, yknow, posting this sort of thing in the future (hooray, goals!), if only to get over my whole fear of perfection etc etc. and also i love sketching! love my red pencil! i should be sharing that! plus, its nice to have a digital archive.

anyway. enjoy enya and her many, many, many AU's, because i sure do.
