I had a breakdown and an identity crisis at the same time and redid my artstyle because of imposter syndrome and I ended up drawing my pride and joy, Felix Astraios.

He's my ADWD1 MC/sunshine sona, and I've been dying over his design and backstory since I made him when I first found out over ADWD, but I finally figured my boy out.🥹

I cannot STRESS how hyperfixated I am over ADWD right now ever since I found out there was a freaking sequel game. (AND NOBODY TOLD ME)

Felix is a full-time artist with olive green eyes and black coily hair with dark skin. He's technically got the same-ish personality as Sunshine from the visual novel itself, but he is more of a realist and gets really serious at more dire settings (such as during ADWD:BTB DLC)

He's a really hard worker and is passionate about his art, specialising in backgrounds/landscapes inspired by Monet's pieces of art, occasionally dabbling in more contemporary or abstract pieces of art. Unfortunately, this does cause him to neglect his well-being, forgetting to eat depending on the deadline he's in. (He's a freaking hypocrite whenever he tells Casper to take care of himself. He's just as bad </3)

when I meant that every single one of my oc-inserts are op and Mary sues, I meant it. (Referencing this post)

Yūrei is quite literally cursed, or at the very least the Tamotsu bloodline is.

Long story short, ancestor tamotsu burned a witch named Ravenel in the name of cleansing the world of evil but in the witch's dying breath, she cast a curse on their bloodline to be constantly haunted by nightmares whenever they slept, being highly susceptible to possession (especially by the witch's vengeful spirit, but only if they don't perform a ritual), and the traits of the demons the ancestors hate so much (claws, horns, tails, strange markings, fangs, a taste for human flesh, etc.)

Yes, this technically does break the rule of yuu's homeworld having no magic/a magicless world, but I'm going by obey me logic (because I originally did make Yūrei for obey me, but replaced him with Evan last minute) that everyone either has no capacity or has the capacity to perform magic, just needs specific training or whatever to unlock it (I forgot the entire magic system, spare me). Sorcerers do exist, but they're a minority all things considered.

Yes I am technically merging obey me and twst, yes I'm aware that's cringe as hell, no I do not regret anything.

Yūrei does have some sort of glamour over his "true form" that hides it to the naked eye, but it can easily be seen through by sorcerers or ghosts because Yūrei did not cast it, rather the glamour works via the earrings he wears daily, as they are enchanted (??) with the same liquid used in their rituals to lessen the chance of Rav possessing him.

Malleus does in fact know about his curse, but only after his overblot. I imagine the yuu's had different dreams, and while Sako had a proper dream, Yūrei did not because of his curse. Since his curse and Malleus's UM contradict each other by principle, he did not have a "happy dream". It was simply an empty space with the darkness and memories of his lifetime that he'd rather forget.

Now, Malleus's spell generally just commands "give happy dreams to dreamers," so Yūrei's dream would be if he had a loving mother and no curse, just living comfortably in the streets of London. It would have erased his memories of when his mother abandoned and nearly killed him, becoming an attendant, the times he nearly got possessed, when he hurt people, and when he himself was hurt.

The curse inevitably stops it due to the fact that the spell used by Rav was ancient as hell and has been there for generations. As such, all the memories that were going to be erased or used for the happy dream would just be scattered everywhere in his dream space.

He does fall into the darkness, but it makes him fall into Mickey's dream after he succumbed to it due to it having no more "levels," as his dream space would've been level 3 already (reference to the three levels of a housewarden's dream; the rewritten vision, the what-if dream, and the pit where you face the last thing you'd want to see).

No I do not care and the brain worms needed to get out because it couldn't stop thinking of jester/Pierrot!Sako for Halloween. I rewatched endless Halloween and the magicam monsters stuff, and it only fueled my obsession more. Yūrei's a doll but he'll get his own post soon enough.

It’s hard to put into words how exhausting this journey has been.
