On Friday, Oct. 7, LSU fans will once again have a chance to marvel at this display, as the Department of Bands will present this year’s annual Tigerama concert at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, which begins at 8 p.m.
Tigerama is a special concert event held to celebrate not only the current LSU Tiger football season, but also highlight the many talented musical and performance ensembles that are a part of the LSU Department of Bands. The evening includes performances by the LSU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds and Tiger Band, featuring the Golden Girls and Colorguard.
Tickets for Tigerama are available for purchase online at www.lsutigerama.com, at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office, the Lod Cook Alumni Center and at any Baton Rouge location of Benny’s Car Wash & Oil Change. General admission seating cost is $20, with a special $5 ticket price for elementary, high school and college students. Also, Benny’s Car Wash & Oil Change will be giving away a free car wash service for each Tigerama ticket sold.
Traumatic experience #495
So, I had to go get my rightfully earned Tigerama tickets, but the Office of University Relations is on the other side of campus. It took me like 3 days to figure out how i would get over there, and on the 3rd and final day, I decided to drive. Fact #24: I despise driving in Baton Rouge. I trekked like half a mile to get to my car, hooked up Jiggy (the trusty GPS) and put on T. Swift's CD. So I'm in my car ridin dirty, and I see im by the UREC. cool. Jiggy says i'm gettin pretty close, so I park in this parking lot so i can walk the rest of the way there. It's a Greeks only parking lot, but i dont care because I'm B.A. and thought i'd only be there for a while.. rawr. So i get out, start a walkin... see nothing but sorority houses... panic a bit... keep walking... no street numbers... just greek symbols. I say "fuckit" and turn around, and go back to my beloved Hyundai, before the Greeks notice. >.> So i drive past the houses and finally get to this office, and they give me two tickets and a free car wash thing. Not even $100 VIP tickets.. just general admission tickets. >.> oh well.
should be pretty kewl. somethin to do on a friday night. I'm excited for next week, though. I well needed Fall Break from skewl. I'll be 18! I'll hang out with who i want to hang out with, and where i want to, and when I want to? mommy? Yeah... I had a dream Sage got reeeally mad at me because I got cake <3
