i worked on a overlay for my man knox bc i felt like the default skin i use emphasizes the bones a bit to much to my taste after all. his figure does look fuller from the side 🤔 but i'm not really sure it looks alright lol... 😭

i just learned abt a EA event some years ago and apparently there was this huge life sized statue where you could sit at the center and be a sim.

what strikes me here though is the sims choice.........esp candy behr..........from get together........................so................you know who else is in get together.........................that's right...................if it had been HIM i would have sailed the seven seas just to snap that stupid italian's neck................. and maybe kiss him on the head.....................

you know what. im gonna make it a completely """"platonic"""" date between bros bc they don't deserve to be a couple yet imo. i haven't made them suffer enough clearly. tbh i think they're both dense. paolo sees it as a "sillay date between bros ^__^✌️" while knoxs just like. "huh. that's just one of our hangouts like always :-}" the romance bar ? i don't care about it.

a flimsy design/character analysis by me ✌😔✌

ok so the paolox brainrot is really getting to me (as if it wasn't strong enough 😑) and i have a lot of thoughts that need to be written down somewhere ok... i haven't really done that before so i thought it'd be a good exercise for me to polish my not so good english and my not so good analysis abilities lol....anyhow. i'm going to do this with their vanilla design that i love so much. more under the cut if you wanna read more about my nonsense ⬇️⬇️⬇️ (sorry in advance for any mistakes lol)

well idk how to begin. let's start with paolo

man. base game screamer. and he's still SAUR cute. ok so. just with his face there's so much i can say already

from his hairstyle, i'd say it feels "let loose", with the bits of strands peeking here and there. doesn't surprise me from a someone living in a household named partihaus you feel me. it looks like he let his hair grow from another hairstyle and haven't cut it since. same thing with his eyebrows, there's little to no care to them, just let the natural hairiness do its thing ! they're super thick and i love it so much. 🐻

however, it does look like he pays attention to smaller details of his appearance still. his beard is clearly trimmed and stylized. that implies that he spends a lot of time in front of the mirror 🪒 also i feel there's self awareness and that he chose that style of beard wisely... i'm gonna be honest, his face is huge lmfao because of his large jaw and chin. the beard DOES make a difference and makes his face smaller. he knows how to rock that beard and a clean shave would be a big no-no.

back to his hairstyle, there's an interesting lifestyle aspect you can pick up. why tie it up ? simply because he is an active guy and his hair would get in the way of his daily activities if he didn't. he even goes a step further by wearing a bandana for workouts. so yeah. i like that it highlights that aspect of his personality !

ok ! that was only the head so let's move on to the rest.

i haven't found anything to say (yet) abt his other outfits so i'm just gonna. focus on these two to lay out my thoughts lol

so despite all of the sims having the same height in the game, i do think paolo is more on the shorter side...because of his jeans lol. look at how it's cuffed 😭 it's one big fold. it's not easy finding pants with the perfect length. so yeah i love me a short-average king !

on the body type, it clearly shows me a man with discipline. i mean it's easy to show cut abs and muscle definition with the slider in the sims lol but i can assure you that this shit is tough to achieve irl. i love to portray him as a loser for laughs (affectionate) but he's a really hard working dude.

judging by the choice of his swimwear there's this whole thing going on where he needs to be a show-off i think...lol. the size is very telling. sculpting his body is one factor for sure and tattooing it is an additional one. out of all the partihaus sims, his tattoo is the biggest. (yeah they all have one its so cute lol...) that's flashy. bold. audacious. he sees things on a large scale. he strikes me as a loud guy, that naturally takes a lot of place around him you feel me. that's why i feel like he would express himself a lot through body language lol. also well. he's italian. 🤌🤌🤌 (unfortunately)

and speaking of his tattoo, i'm not even afraid to say that he's a japanophile because of the style lol... (i remember seeing someone say that he would dress like a yakuza and that's absolutely correct.) i know for a fact that there was a huge anime boom in italy, so he probably grew up being a huge weeb or something 😭 (canon event for half of europe tbh LMFAO me included.) so yeah. ok i did change his tattoo in my makeover but kept the same style 👍 irezumi type.

well. everything about him screams anti system. non conformist. he wants to leave an impact on you and manages. one would think "hey these piercings are all over the place. it's not homogeneous." that's what i thought at first too. i wasn't immune to making things look more cohesive, so one of the first thing i wanted to change was his piercing color. but then i thought about it more... he's a non conformist ! this choice of clashing colors, alongside the asymmetry makes perfect sense. so i backtracked lol. that's now one of my favorite thing about him 😭👍

because of that, i feel like these piercings were made mostly out of influence from mary (will get to that later) but also impulse ? it's easy to have an image of a chill/cottage-ish guy with him being an eco-master but tbh i read him as reckless at times lol. esp with this line from the household description : [Unfortunately, sometimes he takes "fighting" a little too literally.] he WILL whoop your ass so...watch out.

there's also this very interesting physical trait going on with his hair : he's greying. i am pointing that out because he's still a young adult. idk what happened to him, but to be greying this much while being this young, he must have had a rowdy past with bad life choices lol. my mans clearly stressed out. maybe that's why he wears his beanie most of the time idk ! seeing his grey hair makes him look older...he may be self conscious after all...😔

enough of his face. moving on

you can pretty much pick up everything from his base outfit lol. i mean it's pretty self explanatory. reuse, reuse, reuse etc etc. he's ultra frugal and that's so cool actually.

and this minimalism also translates to his body type. i think he eats -just enough- to live...😭 no overconsumption. also since he likes the outdoors i do believe he walks a lot so adding physical work to that, he's built like. a pinky.

so, through the wiki, i learned that his moms were created for him... he was meant to be a 1 sim household from what i understood. but the addition of his moms change A LOT about what some of the accessories he wears means and it brings much more to his character. let me explain.

his mothers are very important to him. like i'm not exagerating lol. both of them are role models to him 100%. (its very infuriating that he only recognise blossom as his mother but to hell with that. he loves them both lol 😤)

first and obvious link to mary : the ear gauges and piercing. "my mom is so cool. i want to do the same thing when i grow up." boom.

second and more discreet link to blossom : a matching bracelet.

now the most observant people will say to me and understandably so : "you made that up. knox doesn't wear that bracelet at all" um akshually. yes he does. it's on his everyday outfit. you have to take his top off for it to show up. 🤓☝

so yeah he loves his mamaws ok....... he's a rambunctious but loving boyo.

aaand yeah. that's about it lol PHEW im done for now...

as much as i love paolox, i think jules was knox's closest friend at some point in the past or something. even a lover if i may say. same eyebrow piercing ? this near perfect outfit copy ? they explored each other's bodies. idk what happened but the breakup was BAD BRO !!!!!
