Natasha sat straight up in bed, covered in cold sweats. It was the same dream she had been having for days now. She was being held back by hands, attached to body’s and faces she couldn’t make out or recognize. Namesless, faceless. And all the while, James was being dragged from her, back into cryo.
Still panting, she laid back down, and curled against the man sleeping in her bed. He was still there. They were still okay.

James took a deep breath, steadying himself before he moved in to knock on the door to Natasha's apartment. He didn't know how she'd react to his sudden appearance but he hoped she'd at least talk to him.

Natasha had been curled up on the couch reading (and avoiding her homework) when she heard the knock on her apartment door. She checked the peep hole, then opened up, surprised to see James.
“What are you doing out here?” She asked, stepping aside to let him in.
