Man kills another as he was unable to repay loan he borrowed from him
Two friends hits a Delhi businessman with iron rod and after that runs over him on Wednesday. One of the two blamed had borrowed Rs 2.35 lakh from the person in question and was not able repay it. The dead has been identified as 35-year-old Pawan Bathla.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in North Delhi's Timarpur territory. The two men called the victim to a isolated location on the pretext of paying him the interest on the loan borrowed of Rs 2.35 lakh. At that point, the two men purportedly hit him with an iron rod, stabbed him and than running over him using his vehicle, a senior cop said. A passerby, who saw a man being kept running over by a vehicle, informed the police about it around 9.30 pm on Tuesday, the officer said. The injured was found lying on a scheduled stretch near Gandhi Vihar in Timarpur. He was hurried to an nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, the officer included. The blamed - Nitin and someone else Mannu Wadhwa - were captured on Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Nupur Prasad said. Amid cross examination, Nitin told the police that revealed he was able to repay the loan he had taken from Pawan Bathla, so he, alongside Wadhwa, planned to kill him.
