I’m starting to think we’re strange for putting so much emphasis on time. This sort of makes me mad, since we’re always all rushed and stressed and time feels like such a curse and we hate it, because we hate being late to things and missing them.
In Japan, it's okay to be a few minutes late.
In Mexico, it's good practice to run about 30 minutes late.
In Saudi Arabia, punctuality is good, but not a matter of life or death.
In Pakistan, running 15 minutes late to a small gathering and 1 hour to a party is okay.
In most island countries, it seems to be "we'll get there when we get there".
Why do we have to be so dependent on time? All it does is make us stressed and uncomfortable and then we die of heart conditions because we HAD TO GET THERE ON TIME. Half the world is doing just fine not worrying so much.
