Watching from the shadows of an ally afar, it was not hard for X to see spot the stone in the necklace of a girl who was walking by. His eyes trained on it, trying to observe it from the angle and distance he was at from it. There was no way in hell that that was just a piece of costume jewelry meant for fashion. 

His first instinct was to follow her, staying in the shadows and on the roofs of buildings to avoid being seen until he could figure out a way to take it from her. Once she had arrived to a more remote street where she was alone, he made his move. Still on a roof up above, he ran ahead of her, using his grappling hook and acrobatic skills to get down to the nearest ally ahead of her, waiting at the opening of it with his shoulder against the wall and his arms crossed as he waited for her.

“Nice necklace you got there,” He spoke as she walked by, then walking out of the ally to stand behind her with his arms crossed, his stance exuding confidence.

    It’s dangerous. Too dangerous for a normal kid to do. He doesn’t know why Thea would be going towards the danger, she should be running away from it. Sometimes he just simply doesn’t understand her. Unless she’s some sort of secret SUPERHERO he just can’t fathom it. But she can’t be that. How could there be two secret heroes in the same school? It’s so unlikely he doesn’t believe it possible. But her tone is so pleading. Peter sucks in a breath and closes his eyes.

         “Agh… FINE. I’ll cover for you. But don’t you DARE get hurt. You’re like, one of my only friends.”
