“Hey there! Pickin’ up or droppin’ off a little one?”
It was a surprise that one of the caretakers of Conton’s daycare was such a manly giant of a Saiyan. He was thrice the size of the Frost Demon and had children of all races climbing, swinging, and pulling all over him
He had a rather serene and friendly smile on his face though. On his apron’s nametag was ‘Rabi’ written on it.
don’t mind her. she’s just gently patting @timelessxwinter‘s cheek. cute lizard alien.

Oh, great. She wasn’t in the mood for visitors today. Really not. She growls to herself at noticing the others’ presence. Dropping her laundry, she turns to face the person, not scowling, but not smiling either. Her expression turns to one of momentary surprise as she takes in their appearance, but.....she quickly returns to her previous expression.
“Can I help you?”

Chronoa likely didn’t expect the newest Time Patroller to be this much of a hermit. Weeks had passed and Amisen had yet to settle into anything; it became clear the earthling that sought pacifism was not adjusting well this job that was placed upon her. Her newest task: (hurry up and) settle in and talk to at least someone.
That’s when she took notice of the-- ice demon, was that their race? The fellow seemed to have affection for the wildlife in Conton City, as she found him in a spot she also liked to find solitude within. Today she approached the stranger; quiet but from a direction he could see her coming from. Upon reaching minimal conversational distance she placed down the basket she carried, full of foraged goods, and crouched down.
“They like these.” Amisen plucked a handful of vegetables and tossed them out into the grass. Her voice is low, gaze kept down to her task as she kept herself small and as unintrusive as possible. “You can feed them, too... if you want.”

When I’ll be a real Patroller I’ll earn real money in half the time.
That was what Mariko thought as she headed towards the side quests desk that morning. The students’ stipend at the academy wasn’t bad, but if a Young Patroller wanted to treat themselves to a nice meal now and then, extra money was needed. And helping professional Patrollers on minor side quests was a quick way for it: no messing up with the main storyline, a short day adventure, the chance to learn on the field, and an extra at the end of it.
Young Patrollers couldn’t really choose which missions to join. Otherwise, everyone would go with the most popular options, and bookings would be crowded, so the assignment was casual. Who am I going to deal with today? She wondered as she crossed the hero square. Majin Buu? Beerus? Cell, maybe?
She reached the desk and crossed her arms over it, waiting for the robot to assist her. As she glanced around she noticed a familiar face standing at the desk as well. Where did she met that Arcosian...? Oh god. It’s the lunatic from the other day, with the pod.
She whistled and turned her head away, not really wishing to interact with that touchy guy again. “Come on, stupid machine, get a move,” she hissed, glaring at the robot that was taking its time serving another Patroller.

“What do you think this place would look like without Conton City being plastered in the middle of it?
It’s really a shame- they’re so loud...”
