In Time’s Kakariko, the chain helps rebuild a small house after a moblin attack. Unfortunately for Time, his past memories try to get in the way.

The timeline split sometimes actually affects Time. In the Adult timeline, he feels slightly disconnected from himself and the world. It’s almost like he’s disassociating. He’s not meant to be here in this world anymore and can feel that. He’s the most himself in the Child timeline, though going to the future makes him a little anxious. Time traveling has a feeling to it and that feeling will always be tied to the anxiety of a falling moon for Time. Paranoia and dread set in fast when he’s in the Downfall timeline. He has phantom pains from where Ganon had killed a different version of him. Along with the paranoia, Time also feels more impulsive. He wants to take risks and cause chaos, feelings he has long been able to control. When in any era of the past, before the split, he feels the need to be more cautious. Time travel is a tricky thing and he feels the burden of making sure not to mess up the timeline, even if this adventure doesn’t actually mess with the timeline. In Warrior’s era, he’s filled with energy and can feel the marks on his face tingle. Anytime after Warrior’s era, Time will be disoriented for a while before adjusting. The timeline has merged. He has the phantom pains of the downfall and the slight disconnect of the adult, but he’s just as at peace as in the child it’s a weird mesh.

((Soooo- since Scott and I are clearly Up To No Good, but at the same time some other threads/whatnot have been going on(I’ve got my eye on you, Shawn Flynn *s q u i n t*) we’re gonna have a liiiiittle bit of a- let’s call it a timeline split, so that my greedy butt can indulge in multiple things at once

So! For this event, posts will be tagged #prelude as things build up and #Michael: Your Creations for the whole event, whereas anything outside of the event(for instance, the whole Wandering Is a Terrible Sin thing) will be tagged as #Outside of the Flames (edgy, I know, but I think it sounds cool)

Any threads of mine tagged #Outside of the Flames are the normal Michael that you’ve come to know and love, nothing has changed there, while any threads tagged #Michael: Your Creations is a different Michael from our The Joy of Creation AU. Of course, if you need any clarification on anything, the inbox is open~!))

A very unlikely but IMO cool thought about Sonic Mania and Forces

on some level Mania seems like it’s a Timeline Split point

meaning in the Modern Sonic Canon the events happen like this

Sonic 1, then CD, 2, 3, & Knuckles and then Adventure 1&2, Unleashed, Colors, Lost World & Forces in that order

but Mania’s timeline now seems to go 1. CD, 2, 3, &Knuckles, then Mania happens

so what if the end goal is that after making a few more Classic games....the Events of Adventure’s 1 and 2 start happening, but with strange different events showing that the timelines have changed

like say they remake Adventure 1 but instead of Big the Cat Cream takes and Cheese take his Place, and then in Adventure 2 there’s more odd differences, like maybe it turns out Maria is still alive and she ends up being the game’s bigger bad instead of the Biolizard
