Samantha giggled, twirling around a bit, not seeming to care about the other's shock. "Don't you see?" she asked, a soft smile on her face, "We were never meant to be heroes...either of us...and how could we ever think we could be normal? I can't go back to the way things were..." She tapped the windowsill.
Anger flooded through her mind suddenly, the effects of being mutated still running through her veins. Why couldn't anyone let her make her own decisions?! Being a hero wasn't good enough, being normal wasn't good enough. So, what did people want from her!? "And if you don't agree," she said, her teeth gritted and her fists clenched, "Get out..." the window in front of her smashed. The only thing she could say about her mutation was that it did give her something in return. She shut her eyes tightly. "And why shouldn't I get rid of them? They never liked us in the first place, don't you get it?" She turned to Tim, holding his arm, her eyes pleading for him to understand, "They USED us, knowing that we would probably fail. They didn't care...we were nothing more than expendable!" An open door slammed as she felt her body boiling with the heat of anger. "And if you try to get in my way, so help me..." she glared at him, her body shaking with rage.
