The following letter is delivered by courier in the early morning hours of the day. Both the stationery and elegant penmanship would be easily recognizable to the Patriarch of House Sunvale as those belonging to his granddaughter.
Lord-Magistrate Sunvale, Patriarch of House Sunvale,
Please find below the listed changes to the marriage contract sent forth with the Lord Rha'veran and his Ranger-Guard.
Amendment One: House Sunvale will be permitted to claim one child born of Lady Mitha Rha'veran, nee Sunvale so long as the following terms are agreed upon by all parties. Rather than fully taking the name of Sunvale, the child will be gifted a hyphenated surname of 'Rha'veran-Sunvale'. This child will be raised to know the traditions of both House Rha'veran and House Sunvale, with full training provided to take the ruling seat of the House. House Sunvale will be entitled visits with this child, as with any other at the discretion of Lord and Lady Rha'veran. Upon the date of inheritance, the child will either take their place as head of House Sunvale or Lady Mitha Rha'veran shall take the position of Matriarch until such a time as the house may be passed safely into the hands of the heir / heiress.
Amendment Two: House Rha'veran will operate as a mutual ally with House Sunvale for a period of five centuries, or until three children born of the union reach age of maturity.
As our union is a favorable match, I would ask that you take such into consideration for the continuation of negotiation., which we would be honored to host in our Silvermoon home, Sunridge Manor. In addition to the discussion , my Lord husband and I would like to extend invitation for dinner and in his words, ‘an evening of splendor.’
If I may make a simple request as your granddaughter, please try to consider that my husband has tried to do nothing more than keep me safe from harm. He may not have gone about it in the way that we of House Sunvale might have, but that does not make him any less worthy. We shall speak more of this in person when we meet to discuss the amendments.
Lady Mitha Rha'veran, Heir to House Sunvale, Matriarch of Eyrien’dor
A second smaller note had been hastily tucked within the envelope and only fell forth once the Patriarch had finished the letter. Easily recognized as his granddaughter’s hastiest scrawl, the letter seemed to have been written on torn piece of a map.
I need all the information you can give on what you found when he visited you last. The amulet is off. I await your word most anxiously.
