Eddie and I have been following each other on Twitter for years nows and this was our first time meeting!

Eddie contacted me interested in my Hollywood inspired series.  For this photo shoot we styled it after the tall, dark & handsome movie star, Stewart Granger.    With some Postmodern Jukebox playing in the background to set the mood combined with Eddie’s naturally creative personality, we captured some really great shots. Eddie’s playful energy was set aside for the more serious images I’m sharing here. I hope to work with him again now that we are no longer internet strangers!

To run alongside my vintage inspired portraits, I was searching for a couple eager to kick-off my Famous Couples series. Lucky for me… Jenna & Hubert were on board for the fun!

Jenna & Hubert are the most joyful & grateful human beings I have ever met. They make such a beautiful couple and I knew they would shine in a flirtatious & fun photo shoot. For this shoot we wanted to capture the love & joy that filled the 50 year marriage of the great Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward.

We used playful images of Newman & Woodward to inspire our session while still staying true to Jenna & Hubert’s home & character.

Angelle was visiting San Francisco for the Outside Lands Music Festival and while she was in town, I thought it would be the perfect time to kick-off my old Hollywood inspired series. We were inspired by some lovely photos of the legendary dark haired siren Jane Russell. If you have never seen “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” w/Jane Russell & Marilyn Monroe, you can catch it on Netflix! We had great laughs and I really enjoyed watching Angelle begin to get comfortable and take on the Hollywood charisma. I can’t wait for her to come visit San Francisco again. She is a truly high-spirited person and wonderful to be around.
