@shadow-of-a-hero continued from here Todd knew something bad was about to happen as he watched the car come at him. He also knew it was going to hurt. His mouth has opened but he could not yell. He didn't have enough time. The next second his body was hit and Todd's world went dark. When he comes to, the first thing he thinks is that the lights are too bright. They hurt his eyes. He doesn't like them. Why is there so many lights though? Is mama's friends over again? Where is Mortimer? He doesn't like bright lights either. But then Todd sees that he is not home. He doesn't know where he is. He knows it is not home though. The small boy blinks his eyes and looks over to see something yellow. He blinks a few more times before he could see that there is a girl there. A girl and an older man. "Wh-where am I?" Todd asks quietly as he looks at them. "Mama?"
