Woke up super early to see a thick mist blanketing the fields. Weird when you think it’s going to be another 30 degrees C today. Although they didn’t last long, we had some whopping scarlet pimpernel blooms around the field edges this year and I managed to save some to experiment with. When I picked them, they were dusky orange and after they’d dried they turned a delicate pink.
