Tiny Worlds: An Intro - First Shot
I chose to photograph a book for my first tiny worlds shot because I love to read and throughout the lockdown last year it was something that really helped me.

Tiny Worlds: An Intro (Reshoot)
After hearing some feedback from Dawn and some of my classmates I decided to reshoot my first Tiny Worlds image. I changed the orientation to landscape and lit the scene a bit better while still giving the dark and dim atmosphere I was looking for.
Tiny Worlds: An Intro - Narrative and Additive Captions
“At a Loss for Words”
Narrative Caption
This is my first Tiny World’s shot of a miniature figure standing at the bottom of a book. She is holding the pages open with two miniscule hands as she looks along the centre of the book.
Additive Caption
The subject is looking up at the endless streams of words across the huge pages in front of her. Each and every word is sinking in as she reads and the story is taking her mind further away from reality and closer to wonderful mystery and thrilling adventure. The sheer size of the book allows it to become a bridge that guides her from the darkness and towards the light.
