Please help us save our car before we have a crisis.
Over the last few months we have struggled along to pay our bills, requesting help on occasion to cover our rent and other bills. While we had been focusing on paying our bills one thing that has been neglected is our automobile upkeep.
Our car does have its problems, but the one problem that needs immediate attention is our right-front tire -- this tire is almost about to pop. Right now the tire (which was purchased in 2012) is still inflated and operable, but you can feel the steel poking out of the tire, and the tread is worn down toward approaching smoothness.
The three other tires were replaced in the last year, one after it did pop, and two others when they were about ready to pop and we had a touch of money to spare. But now we don’t have any spare money to replace our now about-to-pop tire; the last of our funds (save for the $1.34 remaining in my account) was used to pay half of our upcoming rent, with a promise to pay the other half when I get paid again.
But what about a spare tire, you might ask. When the tire mentioned above popped nearly a year ago, I used the donut “spare” tire supplied with the car to barely make it back to my apartment, but this donut “spare” fell apart and is now rather useless.
So we’re asking for your help. We need to collect enough money to replace the tire that is about to pop. Ideally, we’d like to collect enough money to replace the tire and to buy a new rim and another tire to be used as a full-sized spare. This way we won’t be facing a potential crisis in the future like we are now.
Based on estimates, a replacement tire will cost just under $100, while two tires and a rim will come to about $300, including fees and installation. We need your help to collect this before the wearied tire pops and places us into a terrible crisis.
If I don’t have my car working then I can’t have my job; that’s how the company I work for operates. So please help us collect these funds so that we can avoid the crisis of losing my car to a popped tire.

Thank you for your help in avoiding this crisis.
tldr: We have a tire about to pop, but have no money to replace it. Please donate and help us get at least $100 to replace our tire. Thanks!
