Choqolaqa Stone Forest, Peru: Choqolaqa stone forest is located in the town of Cota Cota in the district of Tisco, province of Caylloma, in Arequipa region, in the Peruvian territory. Choqolaqa, located at 4,800 meters above sea level, is a set of gigantic ashlar rock formations, which were carved by wind erosion, achieving capricious animal figures (the condor, elephants, seals); streets, avenues, castles, women, angels, among others.
