Leto was one of the Titanides, a bride of Zeus, and the mother of the twin gods Apollon and Artemis. She was the goddess of motherhood and, with her children, a protectress of the young. Leto was usually depicted as a woman lifting her veil in a gesture of modesty and was usually accompanied by her two children.

Eurynome was one of the elder Okeanides and the Titan-goddess of water-meadows and pasturelands. She was the third of the brides of Zeus who bore him the Kharites, goddesses of grace and beauty. Her name means "She of Broad-Pastures" from the Greek words eurys "wide" or "broad" and nomia "pasture."
