What's this abt abt io going super Nova

back when i played the game i had this theory where guardians could like, expel near fatal levels of energy/light w their super™️ if need be… kind of like a self-destruct switch. im sure it exists in the lore somewhere bc its not particularly unique adksjdk anyway io is a warlock sunsinger and to defeat oryx she LITERALLY went super nova. the stupit thing was that io lost her ghost in the garden ages ago and has been relying on jovian’s, but jovian was taken™️ at the time, so io was kind of relying on oryx actually dying in order to be revived lmao

I lost my Ghost in the Black Garden campaign. One or two people have asked me how, but I still don’t have an answer. The gate closed... and he was gone with it, along with many of my friends, and folks I considered family. The Vanguard won’t let Guardians back there - they say it’s too dangerous. So yes, he could still be there - along with the bodies of countless others. I know it. And there’s only so much you can do to move past that.
