As Law heard the click of the gun, he knew his options: there was a body within the vicinity of his room that he could switch out with and fool Doflamingo, or Law could just say fuck it, and let the soul mate bond do its work. And honestly, Law was rather curious how far back Luffy would be taken… Today had been quite terrible after all. (Soul mate AU where if your soul mate dies in front of you, you are sent back in time and given one chance to save them. If you succeed, they remember what could have been.
