Review: As a lover of the Lunar Chronicles, this book has found a special place in my heart. I was incredibly excited to finally get my hands on this book, and managing to finish it within and hour. I absolutely adore Meyer’s characters and the magnificent world she has created. As mentioned previously, this was a quick read; each page turn merely piqued my interest and fascination with the plot. Since I haven’t read a book in quite some time, I was worried I would be easily distracted and lose interest. Fortunately, I found the opposite. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who can be easily distracted while reading, is jumping back into their reading, or anyone who has never read a graphic novel (like myself). Another thing I loved about the book was getting to know the characters all over again, including some new ones. Meyer brings attention to Iko’s struggles with her identity, and in some ways self-love. This book allows the reader to learn more about Iko and her adventures, changing her typical role of a side character and putting her in the spotlight as the protagonist.
